About us
CDN77 is a content delivery network. We cache static content for websites and applications in 150 cities on five continents. At peak, we handle 60 Tbps of data, which is the equivalent of 5% of the global internet.
Who uses our services? Udemy, ESL Gaming, European Space Agency, Factorio, just to name a few.
We are firm believers that the best investor is a happy customer. And to make every customer truly happy at our current growth rate, we need you.
Who are we looking for?
We don’t expect you to have extensive technical knowledge, but it's a big plus. However, be prepared to hit the ground running from day one and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Based in Prague (or willing to relocate) and excited about working in-person.
Comfortable regularly interacting with customers over chat, emails, and other channels.
Fluent in written English, with a desire to use it daily. Czech is a bonus, but not a requirement.
Customer-focused, with a mindset that puts client satisfaction first.
Curious about how the Internet works and eager to dive into technical topics relating to CDN, networking, and video streaming.
A quick learner, who can pick up new technical concepts and tools effectively.
A desire to continuously learn and grow in the world of IT. An ambition to evolve your skills into a technical solution architect, Linux admin, software engineer, or network engineer, we'll support your journey.
Open to shift-based work, including morning, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
What will your day look like?
The first few months will be learning and training (9:00 - 17:00), and the following few will be spent working on the shifts (morning/evening/weekend) to get comfortable.
Answer client tech-related questions and requests related to CDN77 products and services via live chat, ticketing system, and other channels.
Work closely with engineering teams to fix bugs and troubleshoot issues; with development and client solution teams to track and develop clients' requests.
Write and update knowledge base content, including troubleshooting guides and more.
Tinker with new processes, new features, and continuous service improvement.
What can we offer you?
Fair financial compensation based on previous experience, performance, and expectations
Free food every workday (breakfast, lunch/dinner, fresh fruits, snacks, nice lemonades, coffee, etc.)
Flexible working hours – it's not a problem to schedule your shifts around your plans or occasionally work remotely
Potential for upward growth within the company
Great working environment in our Vinohrady villas (and pet-friendly)
Equipment according to your own requirements (laptop, monitors, headphones, etc.)
Spinalis chairs and adjustable standing desks
Company barber
Our selection process?
From start to finish your contact will be Travis and Jan, your future team leaders (no HR). You'll get a few basic questions to check the fit and then we'll meet personally in our villa in Vinohrady. If there is mutual satisfaction, you'll receive a task to finish at home and we'll meet once again to discuss the task. If all is still good then finally, you'll meet our CEO Zdeněk.
What can you expect after accepting our offer?
- First, your team leaders will introduce you to your team and show you around the firm, so you gain a good overview of our team, product, company structure, and business model.
- Your first weeks? Study, study, study! You’ll work closely with your team, which you will shadow and learn from.
- Entering into your second month, you’ll slowly start taking over client tickets and communication on chat. Rest assured that the team will help you, and lend a hand whenever you're in doubt.
- We actively encourage personal and professional growth and, if it suits you, would love to see you move into higher, tech-heavy roles with us in the future. To give you an idea – some of our support staff have moved into roles such as a technical solution architect, Linux admin, software engineer, network engineer, or CEPH engineer.
